Valmiki Ramayana 4.21.3 meaning

shochya shochasi kam shochyam deenam deenanukampase kash cha kasyanushochyosti dehesmin budbudopame

You who are yourself to be pitied, whom do you pity? Grieving, whom do you grieve for? In this body, fragile as a bubble, who should truly mourn whom?

What it means
Hanuman gently points out that all of us share the same fragile condition. The one who mourns is as mortal as the one mourned. Seeing this softens grief into compassion for everyone.

Spoken by Hanuman.
