natmanah kamakarosti purushoyam aneeshvarah
itash ch-etaratash ch-ainam kritantah parikarshati
नात्मनः कामकारोऽस्ति पुरुषोऽयमनीश्वरः।
इतश्चेतरतश्चैनं कृतान्तः परिकर्षति॥
No one is free to do as he pleases. A person is not his own master. Time pulls him this way and that.
What it means
Rama comforts the grieving Bharata. Much of life is beyond our control. Accepting this softens guilt and blame, and lets us grieve without tearing ourselves apart.हिंदी में अर्थ
