yani mithyabhishastanam patanty-asrani raghava
tani putrapashoon ghnanti preetyartham anushasatah
यानि मिथ्याभिशस्तानां पतन्त्यस्राणि राघव।
तानि पुत्रपशून्घ्नन्ति प्रीत्यर्थमनुशासतः॥
The tears that fall from those who are falsely accused, Raghava, destroy the children and wealth of the ruler who punishes on a whim.
What it means
Injustice does not stay with the victim; it returns to the one who caused it. Anyone with power over others, at work or at home, must judge carefully. Hurting an innocent person carries a heavy cost.हिंदी में अर्थ
हे राघव, झूठे आरोप में फँसाए गए लोगों के जो आँसू गिरते हैं, वे मनमाने ढंग से दंड देने वाले शासक की संतान और धन को नष्ट कर देते हैं।
अन्याय पीड़ित तक सीमित नहीं रहता, वह करने वाले के पास लौटता है। जिसके हाथ में दूसरों पर अधिकार है, उसे सोच-समझकर फ़ैसला करना चाहिए। निर्दोष को दुख देना भारी पड़ता है।
