dattam ishtam hutam ch-aiva taptani cha tapansi cha
vedah satyapratishthanas tasmat satyaparo bhavet
दत्तमिष्टं हुतं चैव तप्तानि च तपांसि च।
वेदाः सत्यप्रतिष्ठानास्तस्मात्सत्यपरो भवेत्॥
Charity, worship, offerings, the austerities people practise, even the Vedas themselves, all rest on truth. So be devoted to truth.
