satyam ev-anrishansyam cha rajavrittam sanatanam
tasmat satyatmakam rajyam satye lokah pratishthitah
सत्यमेवानृशंस्यं च राजवृत्तं सनातनम्।
तस्मात्सत्यात्मकं राज्यं सत्ये लोकः प्रतिष्ठितः॥
Truth and kindness are the timeless duty of a ruler. So a kingdom is founded on truth, and the world itself rests on truth.
