tam vrajantam priyo bhrata lakshmanonujagama ha
snehad vinayasampannah sumitranandavardhanah
तं व्रजन्तं प्रियो भ्राता लक्ष्मणोऽनुजगाम ह।
स्नेहाद्विनयसम्पन्नः सुमित्रानन्दवर्धनः॥
As Rama left for the forest, his dear brother Lakshmana followed him, out of love. Well-mannered and humble, he was the joy of his mother Sumitra.
What it means
No one ordered Lakshmana to go. He simply could not let his brother face hardship alone. True family love shows up most clearly when things go wrong, not when they go well.हिंदी में अर्थ
जब राम वन को चले, तब उनके प्रिय भाई लक्ष्मण स्नेह के कारण उनके पीछे चल पड़े। विनयशील लक्ष्मण माता सुमित्रा का आनंद बढ़ाने वाले थे।
लक्ष्मण को किसी ने जाने को नहीं कहा था। वे बस भाई को अकेले कष्ट में नहीं देख सकते थे। सच्चा पारिवारिक प्रेम मुश्किल समय में दिखता है।
