Valmiki Ramayana 1.1.17 meaning
vishnuna sadrisho veerye somavat priyadarshanah
kalagnisadrishah krodhe kshamaya prithiveesamah
विष्णुना सदृशो वीर्ये सोमवत्प्रियदर्शनः।
कालाग्निसदृशः क्रोधे क्षमया पृथिवीसमः॥
He is like Vishnu in valour and as pleasing to see as the moon. His anger is like the fire at the end of time, yet in patience and forgiveness he is like the earth.
What it means
The earth bears everything people do to it and still gives back. Strength and forgiveness are not opposites. The strongest people are often the most forgiving, because they have nothing to prove.हिंदी में अर्थ
पराक्रम में वे विष्णु के समान और चंद्रमा जैसे प्रिय दिखने वाले हैं। क्रोध में प्रलय की अग्नि जैसे, पर क्षमा में पृथ्वी के समान हैं।
धरती सब कुछ सहकर भी लौटाती है। शक्ति और क्षमा विरोधी नहीं हैं। सबसे शक्तिशाली लोग अक्सर सबसे क्षमाशील होते हैं।
