Bathing in Ganga's waters, worshipping you, Lord, with pure flowers and fruits, fixing my mind in meditation on a rock seat in a mountain cave, content in myself, living on fruits, devoted to my teacher's words: by your grace, Shiva, when will I be free of the pain of serving the powerful?

What it means
Here is a simple spiritual routine: cleanliness, worship, meditation, simple food and a teacher's guidance. Such steady practice can slowly free you from the stress of always pleasing powerful people.

Spoken by Bhartrihari.
