अन्नदानं महादानं विद्यादानं महत्तरम् ।
अन्नेन क्षणिका तृप्तिर्यावज्जीवं तु विद्यया ॥
Giving food is a great gift, but giving knowledge is even greater. Food satisfies for a moment; knowledge satisfies for a whole lifetime.
