Subhashitas Subhashita 69 meaning

moorkhasya pancha chihnani garvo durvachanam tatha krodhash cha dridhavadash cha paravakyeshv-anadarah

There are five signs of a fool: pride, harsh words, anger, stubborn arguing, and disregard for what others say.

What it means
This is a mirror, not a label for others. When you catch yourself being proud, sharp-tongued, angry, stubborn or dismissive, pause. Listening to others is the quickest cure for all five.
