Subhashitas Subhashita 64 meaning

ashraddheyam na vaktavyam pratyaksham api yad bhavet yatha vanarasangeetam tathaiva plavate shila

Do not tell things nobody will believe, even if you saw them with your own eyes, like a story of monkeys singing or a stone floating on water.

What it means
Being right is not enough; you also have to be believable. If something sounds too strange, gather proof, choose the right moment or simply let it go. Credibility, once lost, is hard to win back.
