aho bata sabha sabhyair iyam maunad adhah krita
santo vadanti yat satyam sabham na pravishanti va
अहो बत सभा सभ्यैरियं मौनादधः कृता ।
सन्तो वदन्ति यत्सत्यं सभां न प्रविशन्ति वा ॥
Alas, this assembly has been brought low by the silence of its own members. Good people either speak the truth in a gathering, or do not enter it at all.
