bahuvachanam alpasaram yah kathayati vipralapee sah
अल्पाक्षररमणीयं यः कथयति निश्चितं स खलु वाग्मी ।
बहुवचनमल्पसारं यः कथयति विप्रलापी सः ॥
One who says something clear and pleasing in few words is truly eloquent. One who says a lot with little substance is just babbling.
