na tv-aham kamaye rajyam na svargam n-apunarbhavam
kamaye duhkhataptanam praninam artinashanam
न त्वहं कामये राज्यं न स्वर्गं नापुनर्भवम् ।
कामये दुःखतप्तानां प्राणिनामार्तिनाशनम् ॥
I do not wish for a kingdom, nor for heaven, nor even for freedom from rebirth. All I wish for is to end the pain of living beings who are burning with suffering.
