Subhashitas Subhashita 410 meaning

chita chinta samaprokta bindumatram visheshata sajeevam dahate chinta nirjeevam dahate chita

Chitā, the funeral pyre, and chintā, worry, are almost the same word; the only difference is a single dot. Worry burns the living, while the pyre burns only the dead.

What it means
Worry feels like doing something, but mostly it just burns you slowly from inside. Turn it into a plan, a question, or a conversation. What cannot be acted on today can be set down until tomorrow.
