असंतुष्टोऽसकृल्लोकानाप्नोत्यपि सुरेश्वरः ।
अकिंचनोऽपि संतुष्टः शेते सर्वाङ्गविज्वरः ॥
A discontented person stays restless even if, like the king of the gods, he wins world after world. A contented person, though he owns nothing, sleeps with every limb free of fever.

असंतुष्ट व्यक्ति देवराज की तरह बार-बार लोक जीत ले, तब भी बेचैन रहता है। संतुष्ट व्यक्ति के पास कुछ न हो, फिर भी वह पूरे शरीर से बेफ़िक्र होकर सोता है।
चैन की नींद जीवन की अच्छी कसौटी है। बेचैन मन को कोई सफलता यह नहीं खरीद सकती, जबकि थोड़े में जीने वाले को यह रोज़ मिलती है। वैसी दौलत चाहिए जो सोने दे।
