लोभमूलानि पापानि सङ्कटानि तथैव च ।
लोभात्प्रवर्तते वैरमतिलोभाद्विनश्यति ॥
Greed is the root of sins and of troubles too. From greed arises enmity, and through excessive greed a person is ruined.
