svabhavam na jahaty-eva sadhur apadgatopi san
karpoorah pavakaplushtah saurabham bhajatetaram
स्वभावं न जहात्येव साधुरापद्गतोऽपि सन् ।
कर्पूरः पावकप्लुष्टः सौरभं भजतेतराम् ॥
A good person does not abandon his nature even when caught in trouble. Camphor, when touched by fire, only gives out more fragrance.
