anur apy-asatam sangah sadgunam hanti vistritam
gunaroopantaram yati takrayogad yatha payah
अणुरप्यसतां सङ्गः सद्गुणं हन्ति विस्तृतम् ।
गुणरूपान्तरं याति तक्रयोगाद्यथा पयः ॥
Even a little contact with the wicked destroys great virtue, just as milk turns into something else when buttermilk is added.
