To calm every obstacle, meditate on the all-pervading Lord dressed in white, bright as the moon, with four arms and a cheerful, smiling face.
What it means
Chanted at the start of almost every ritual. Its secret is in ‘a cheerful face’—meeting problems with a calm, pleasant mind already shrinks them before you begin. How it helps in real life
- At work: Heading into a tough client call about a missed deadline? Smile before you unmute; a calm, pleasant tone already shrinks the problem.
- Every day: Before starting the car for your morning commute, chant this once, picture a smiling face, and drive without angry honking.
Spoken by Rishi.
