Shiva Mahimna Stotra 41 meaning
tava tattvam na janami keedrishosi maheshvara
yadrishosi mahadeva tadrishaya namo namah
तव तत्त्वं न जानामि कीदृशोऽसि महेश्वर।
यादृशोऽसि महादेव तादृशाय नमो नमः॥
I do not know your true nature, O great Lord, or what you are really like. But whatever you are, Mahadeva, to you as you truly are, I bow again and again.
What it means
You do not need to have God figured out to be devoted. It is honest to say, 'I do not know.' Bowing to the Divine as it truly is, beyond your ideas, is the purest humility.हिंदी में अर्थ
हे महेश्वर, मैं तुम्हारा असली स्वरूप नहीं जानता, कि तुम कैसे हो। पर हे महादेव, तुम जैसे भी हो, वैसे ही तुम्हें बार-बार नमन।
भक्ति के लिए ईश्वर को पूरा समझना ज़रूरी नहीं। 'मैं नहीं जानता' कहना ईमानदारी है। अपनी धारणाओं से परे, ईश्वर जैसा है वैसे ही उसे नमन करना सबसे शुद्ध विनम्रता है।
