Shiva Mahimna Stotra 32 meaning

asitagirisamam syat kajjalam sindhupatre surataruvarashakha lekhanee patram urvee likhati yadi griheetva sharada sarvakalam tad api tava gunanam eesha param na yati

If the ink were a mountain of black, the ink-pot the ocean, the pen a branch of the wish-fulfilling tree and the page the whole earth, and if Saraswati herself wrote for all time, even then, O Lord, she could not reach the end of your qualities.

What it means
This famous image says the Divine is limitless. Some things, like grace, love and goodness, can never be fully counted or written down. Approach them with wonder, not with a calculator.

Spoken by Pushpadanta.
