Shiva Mahimna Stotra 26 meaning
tvam arkas tvam somas tvam asi pavanas tvam hutavahas tvam apas tvam vyoma tvam u dharanir atma tvam iti cha
parichchinnam evam tvayi parinata bibhrati giram na vidmas tat tattvam vayam iha tu yat tvam na bhavasi
त्वमर्कस्त्वं सोमस्त्वमसि पवनस्त्वं हुतवहस्त्वमापस्त्वं व्योम त्वमु धरणिरात्मा त्वमिति च।
परिच्छिन्नामेवं त्वयि परिणता बिभ्रति गिरं न विद्मस्तत्तत्त्वं वयमिह तु यत्त्वं न भवसि॥
The wise say: you are the sun, you are the moon, you are wind and fire, water and sky, earth and the inner Self. They describe you with such limited words. But we do not know of anything at all that you are not.
What it means
Instead of listing where God is, Pushpadanta flips it: where is God not? Seeing the sacred in sun, water, earth and your own self changes how you treat the world around you.हिंदी में अर्थ
ज्ञानी कहते हैं: तुम सूर्य हो, चंद्र हो, वायु और अग्नि हो, जल और आकाश हो, धरती और आत्मा हो। वे तुम्हें ऐसे सीमित शब्दों में बताते हैं। पर हम तो ऐसी कोई चीज़ जानते ही नहीं जो तुम न हो।
ईश्वर कहाँ है, यह गिनाने के बजाय पुष्पदंत पूछते हैं: ईश्वर कहाँ नहीं है? सूरज, पानी, धरती और अपने भीतर पवित्रता देखना दुनिया के साथ हमारा व्यवहार बदल देता है।
