O destroyer of desire, you play in cremation grounds, ghosts are your companions, you smear yourself with ash from funeral pyres, and you wear a garland of skulls. Let all your ways look inauspicious; still, for those who remember you, you are the most auspicious of all.

What it means
Do not judge by appearances. Shiva looks fearsome and strange, yet he is pure blessing. People and situations that seem unpromising on the outside can hold the deepest goodness.

Spoken by Pushpadanta.
