Rigveda 10.90.4 meaning
tripad oordhva udait purushah padosyehabhavat punah
tato vishvan vyakramat sashananashane abhi
त्रिपादूर्ध्व उदैत्पुरुषः पादोऽस्येहाभवत्पुनः।
ततो विष्वङ्व्यक्रामत्साशनानशने अभि॥
With three quarters the Person rose upward; one quarter of him came into being here again and again. From there he spread out everywhere, into all that eats and all that does not.
What it means
The divine both stays beyond the world and keeps entering it, filling living beings and lifeless things alike. Look closely at a tree, a stone or a stranger—the same presence is there.हिंदी में अर्थ
तीन चौथाई से वह पुरुष ऊपर उठा; उसका एक चौथाई बार-बार यहाँ प्रकट हुआ। वहाँ से वह हर ओर फैल गया—खाने वाले जीवों में भी और न खाने वाली चीज़ों में भी।
ईश्वर संसार से परे भी है और बार-बार इसमें उतरता भी है—जीवों में भी, निर्जीव चीज़ों में भी। पेड़, पत्थर या अजनबी, सबमें वही है।
