सुनहु असंतन्ह केर सुभाऊ। भूलेहुँ संगति करिअ न काऊ।।
तिन्ह कर संग सदा दुखदाई। जिमि कलपहि घालइ हरहाई।।

हम धीरे-धीरे उन्हीं जैसे बन जाते हैं जिनके साथ रहते हैं। राम की चेतावनी व्यावहारिक है — संगति सोच-समझकर चुनो, क्योंकि बुरा असर अच्छे को भी गिरा देता है।
