tamas tanu kachu sadhan naheen preeti na pad saroj man maheen
ab mohi bha bharos hanumanta binu harikripa milahin nahin santa
तामस तनु कछु साधन नाहीं। प्रीति न पद सरोज मन माहीं।।
अब मोहि भा भरोस हनुमंता। बिनु हरिकृपा मिलहिं नहिं संता।।
I have a dark, troubled nature and no spiritual practice; there is no love for the Lord's lotus feet in my mind. But now I feel hope, Hanuman, because without God's grace one never meets a saint.
What it means

मेरा शरीर तामसी है, मेरे पास कोई साधन नहीं, और मन में प्रभु के चरणों में प्रेम भी नहीं। पर हे हनुमान, अब मुझे भरोसा हो गया है, क्योंकि भगवान की कृपा के बिना संत नहीं मिलते।
विभीषण खुद को अयोग्य मानते हैं, पर हनुमान से मिलकर उम्मीद जागती है। कभी-कभी सही इंसान ठीक तब मिलता है जब हम सबसे ज़्यादा भटके हों। यह संकेत है कि जीवन ने हमें छोड़ा नहीं।
