Three days passed, and still the stubborn ocean ignored Rama's polite request. Then Rama spoke in anger: 'Without fear, there is no respect.'

तीन दिन बीत गए, पर जड़ समुद्र विनती नहीं मान रहा था। तब राम क्रोध में बोले — बिना भय के प्रीति नहीं होती।
राम ने पहले धैर्य और विनम्रता अपनाई। जब विनती अनसुनी हुई, तभी सख़्ती दिखाई। दया पहला रास्ता है, पर कभी-कभी अपनी सीमा बचाने के लिए दृढ़ता भी चाहिए।
