det let man sank na dharaee bal anuman sada hit karaee
bipati kal kar satagun neha shruti kah sant mitra gun eha
देत लेत मन संक न धरई। बल अनुमान सदा हित करई।।
बिपति काल कर सतगुन नेहा। श्रुति कह संत मित्र गुन एहा।।
He gives and takes without suspicion, and always helps as much as he can. In bad times he loves a hundred times more. The scriptures say these are the marks of a good friend.

सच्चे दोस्त हिसाब नहीं रखते और लेन-देन में शक नहीं करते। अपनी क्षमता से मदद करते हैं और मुसीबत में सबसे ज़्यादा साथ देते हैं। मुश्किल समय ही असली दोस्त दिखाता है।
