bole lakhan madhur mridu banee gyan birag bhagati ras sanee

बोले लखन मधुर मृदु बानी। ग्यान बिराग भगति रस सानी॥
काहु न कोउ सुख दुख कर दाता। निज कृत करम भोग सबु भ्राता॥
Lakshmana spoke sweet, gentle words, filled with wisdom, detachment and devotion: 'No one gives anyone joy or sorrow, brother; everyone lives out the results of their own actions.'

गुह कैकेयी को दोष दे रहे थे; लक्ष्मण ने उन्हें प्यार से रोका। दूसरों को दोष देना हमें अटकाए रखता है; अपनी राह की ज़िम्मेदारी लेने से शांति मिलती है।
