Prashna Upanishad 2.13 meaning
pranasy-edam vashe sarvam tridive yat pratishthitam
mat-eva putran rakshasva shreesh cha prajnam cha vidhehi na iti
प्राणस्येदं वशे सर्वं त्रिदिवे यत्प्रतिष्ठितम् ।
मातेव पुत्रान्रक्षस्व श्रीश्च प्रज्ञां च विधेहि न इति ॥
All this, and whatever exists in the three heavens, is in the power of the life-breath. Protect us as a mother protects her children, and give us prosperity and wisdom.

यह सब, और तीनों लोकों में जो कुछ है, सब प्राण के अधीन है। हे प्राण, जैसे माँ अपने बच्चों की रक्षा करती है, वैसे हमारी रक्षा करो, और हमें समृद्धि और बुद्धि दो।
यहाँ जीवन-शक्ति को एक प्यार करने वाली माँ की तरह पुकारा गया है। अपनी साँस और ऊर्जा से भरोसे और कृतज्ञता का रिश्ता रखें, और समृद्धि के साथ समझदारी भी माँगें।
