Sometimes sleeping on the ground, sometimes on a fine bed; sometimes living on greens, sometimes enjoying rice dishes; sometimes in rags, sometimes in fine clothes: a determined person focused on the goal counts neither hardship nor comfort.

What it means
When you're working toward something that matters, comfort and discomfort become side details. Ups and downs are part of the journey. Keep your eyes on the goal, not the bed you slept in.
