Narada Bhakti Sutra 56 meaning
gaunee tridha gunabhedad artadibhedad va
गौणी त्रिधा गुणभेदादार्तादिभेदाद्वा॥
Lower, preliminary devotion is of three kinds, depending on one's temperament, or on one's motive, such as the person in distress, the seeker of knowledge, and the one wanting something.
What it means
Most of us start praying because we are hurting, curious, or want something. Narada does not look down on this. It is a real beginning. Wherever you begin, sincere devotion can grow into something purer.हिंदी में अर्थ
आरंभिक या गौण भक्ति तीन प्रकार की होती है: स्वभाव के गुणों के अनुसार, या कारण के अनुसार, जैसे दुखी, जिज्ञासु और कुछ चाहने वाला।
हम में से ज़्यादातर लोग दुख, जिज्ञासा या किसी चाह से प्रार्थना शुरू करते हैं। नारद इसे छोटा नहीं मानते। यह सच्ची शुरुआत है। जहाँ से भी शुरू करें, सच्चाई से भक्ति शुद्ध होती जाती है।
