Mundaka Upanishad 3.2.8 meaning
yatha nadyah syandamanah samudrestam gachchanti namaroope vihaya
tatha vidvan namaroopad vimuktah parat param purusham upaiti divyam
Just as flowing rivers enter the ocean and disappear, giving up their names and forms, so the wise one, freed from name and form, reaches the divine Being, higher than the highest.
What it means
A river does not lose itself in the ocean; it becomes vast. Letting go of narrow labels and ego is not a loss but a homecoming. Sometimes the bravest thing is to stop holding on.
