Mundaka Upanishad 3.1.2 meaning

samane vrikshe purusho nimagnoneeshaya shochati muhyamanah jushtam yada pashyaty anyam eesham asya mahimanam iti veetashokah

On that same tree, the individual self, sunk in its troubles and confused, grieves over its helplessness. But when it sees the other, the Lord, worthy of love, and sees that greatness as its own, its sorrow is gone.

What it means
Feeling powerless is the root of much sadness. When you look up from your troubles and connect with something larger and steadier, the weight lifts. You were never only the struggling bird.
