Mahabharata 5.38.30 meaning
na buddhir dhanalabhaya na jadyam asamriddhaye
lokaparyayavrittantam prajno janati netarah
न बुद्धिर्धनलाभाय न जाड्यमसमृद्धये।
लोकपर्यायवृत्तान्तं प्राज्ञो जानाति नेतरः॥
Intelligence does not guarantee wealth, and dullness does not guarantee poverty. Only the wise understand how the world's fortunes turn; others do not.
What it means
Being smart won't automatically make you rich, and many less clever people do well. Fortune has its own rhythm. Do your best, stay humble, and don't measure worth by bank balance.हिंदी में अर्थ
