ekam evadviteeyam tad yad rajan navabudhyase
satyam svargasya sopanam paravarasya naur iva
एकमेवाद्वितीयं तद्यद्राजन्नावबुध्यसे।
सत्यं स्वर्गस्य सोपानं पारावारस्य नौरिव॥
There is one thing without a second which you have not grasped, O king: truth. It is the stairway to heaven, like a boat for crossing the ocean.
