Mahabharata 5.33.26 meaning
na hrishyaty-atmasammane navamanena tapyate
gango hrada ivakshobhyo yah sa pandita uchyate
न हृष्यत्यात्मसंमाने नावमानेन तप्यते।
गाङ्गो ह्रद इवाक्षोभ्यो यः स पण्डित उच्यते॥
He is not puffed up when honoured and not hurt when insulted. Like a deep pool of the Ganga, he stays undisturbed. Such a person is called wise.
