Mahabharata 5.146.16 meaning

ashvatthama yatha mahyam tatha shvetahayo mama bahuna kim pralapena yato dharmas tato jayah

Ashvatthama is as dear to me as the white-horsed Arjuna. What use is more talk? Where there is dharma, there is victory.

What it means
'Yato dharmas tato jayah' echoes through the epic and is the motto of India's Supreme Court. Drona reminds Duryodhana that lasting success follows what is right, not what is strong.

Spoken by Drona.
