Mahabharata 5.139.12 meaning
na prithivya sakalaya na suvarnasya rashibhih
harshad bhayad va govinda anritam vaktum utsahe
न पृथिव्या सकलया न सुवर्णस्य राशिभिः।
हर्षाद्भयाद्वा गोविन्द अनृतं वक्तुमुत्सहे॥
Not for the whole earth, not for heaps of gold, not out of joy or fear, Govinda, would I dare to speak a lie.
What it means
Krishna offers Karna the throne if he leaves Duryodhana. Karna refuses, unwilling to betray the friend who stood by him. Loyalty and honesty can matter more than any reward.हिंदी में अर्थ
हे गोविंद, न पूरी पृथ्वी के लिए, न सोने के ढेर के लिए, न खुशी में, न डर से, मैं झूठ बोलने का साहस नहीं करूँगा।
कृष्ण कर्ण को राज्य देने की बात कहते हैं अगर वह दुर्योधन को छोड़ दे। कर्ण मना कर देता है। वफ़ादारी और सच्चाई किसी भी इनाम से बड़ी हो सकती है।
