Mahabharata 3.33.8 meaning
svakarma kuru ma glaseeh karmana bhava danshitah
krityam hi yobhijanati sahasre n-asti sosti va
स्वकर्म कुरु मा ग्लासीः कर्मणा भव दंशितः।
कृत्यं हि योऽभिजानाति सहस्रे नास्ति सोऽस्ति वा॥
Do your own work and do not lose heart; let action be your armour. One who truly knows what needs doing is rare, maybe one in a thousand.

When things look hopeless, keep doing your part. Action itself protects you from despair. People who know their task and keep at it are rare, so be one of them.हिंदी में अर्थ
अपना काम करो और हिम्मत मत हारो; कर्म को अपना कवच बनाओ। जो सच में जानता है कि क्या करना है, वह हज़ारों में एक होता है।
जब हालात बुरे लगें, अपना काम करते रहो। कर्म ही निराशा से बचाने वाला कवच है। जो अपना काम जानकर उसमें लगा रहे, वह दुर्लभ है।
