Mahabharata 3.313.45-46 meaning

kim svid adityam unnayati ke cha tasy-abhitash charah kash ch-ainam astam nayati kasminsh cha pratitishthati brahm-adityam unnayati devas tasy-abhitash charah dharmash ch-astam nayati cha satye cha pratitishthati

Yaksha: What makes the sun rise, who move around it, what makes it set, and on what does it stand? Yudhishthira: Brahman raises the sun, the gods move around it, dharma makes it set, and it stands firm on truth.

What it means
The first riddle sets the tone: even the sun, the biggest thing we see, rests on truth. If the whole sky runs on order and honesty, a single human life certainly needs the same foundation.

Spoken by Yaksha, Yudhishthira.
