evamprayash cha lokoyam manushyah shaktipeshalah
santas tv-ev-apy-amitreshu dayam prapteshu kurvate
एवंप्रायश्च लोकोऽयं मनुष्याः शक्तिपेशलाः।
सन्तस्त्वेवाप्यमित्रेषु दयां प्राप्तेषु कुर्वते॥
Most people in this world are kind only as far as it suits them. But the good show compassion even to enemies who come to them in need.

Being kind to friends is easy. Real goodness shows when someone who hurt you needs help and you still offer it. That is a higher kind of strength.हिंदी में अर्थ
इस संसार में अधिकतर लोग उतने ही दयालु होते हैं जितना उन्हें सुविधा हो। पर सज्जन तो शरण में आए शत्रु पर भी दया करते हैं।
दोस्तों से अच्छा व्यवहार आसान है। असली अच्छाई तब दिखती है जब दुश्मन मुसीबत में हो और तुम फिर भी मदद करो।
