Katha Upanishad 2.2.9 meaning

agnir yath-aiko bhuvanam pravishto roopam roopam pratiroopo babhoova ekas tatha sarvabhoot-antaratma roopam roopam pratiroopo bahish cha

Just as one fire, entering the world, takes the shape of whatever it burns, so the one Self within all beings takes the form of each, and yet remains beyond them.

What it means
Fire looks different in a candle and a bonfire, but it is the same fire. People look different, yet the same life shines in each. This is a strong root for respect and kindness.

Spoken by Yama.
