Isha Upanishad 4 meaning
anejad ekam manaso javeeyo nainad deva apnuvan poorvam arshat
tad dhavatonyan atyeti tishthat tasminn apo matarishva dadhati
अनेजदेकं मनसो जवीयो नैनद्देवा आप्नुवन्पूर्वमर्षत्।
तद्धावतोऽन्यानत्येति तिष्ठत्तस्मिन्नपो मातरिश्वा दधाति॥
That One never moves, yet it is faster than the mind. The senses can never catch it, for it is always ahead. Standing still, it outruns all who run. Within it, the life-force sustains all activity.
What it means
The deepest reality cannot be chased down like a goal. The harder the mind runs, the more it misses what was already here. Stillness, not speed, is how you meet it.हिंदी में अर्थ
वह एक तत्व हिलता नहीं, फिर भी मन से तेज़ है। इंद्रियाँ उसे कभी पकड़ नहीं पातीं, वह हमेशा उनसे आगे रहता है। ठहरा रहकर भी वह दौड़ने वालों से आगे निकल जाता है। उसी में प्राण सारी गतिविधि को टिकाए रखता है।
सबसे गहरा सत्य किसी लक्ष्य की तरह दौड़कर नहीं पकड़ा जाता। मन जितना भागता है, उतना ही उसे चूकता है। उससे मिलने का रास्ता तेज़ी नहीं, ठहराव है।
