Isha Upanishad 2 meaning
kurvann ev-eha karmani jijeevishech chatam samah
evam tvayi n-anyathetosti na karma lipyate nare
कुर्वन्नेवेह कर्माणि जिजीविषेच्छतं समाः।
एवं त्वयि नान्यथेतोऽस्ति न कर्म लिप्यते नरे॥
Keep doing your work here and wish to live a hundred years. For you, there is no other way than this: action done in this spirit does not cling to a person.
What it means
Spirituality is not running away from life. Live fully, work fully, and aim for a long, active life. What frees you is not quitting action but acting without greed and attachment.हिंदी में अर्थ
यहाँ कर्म करते हुए ही सौ वर्ष जीने की इच्छा रखो। तुम्हारे लिए इसके सिवा कोई दूसरा रास्ता नहीं है। इस भाव से किया गया कर्म इंसान को बाँधता नहीं।
आध्यात्म का मतलब जीवन से भागना नहीं है। पूरे मन से जियो और काम करो। बंधन से मुक्ति काम छोड़ने से नहीं, बिना लालच और आसक्ति के काम करने से मिलती है।
