Isha Upanishad 16 meaning
pooshann ek-arshe yama soorya prajapatya vyooha rashmeen samooha tejah
yat te roopam kalyanatamam tat te pashyami yosav asau purushah soham asmi
पूषन्नेकर्षे यम सूर्य प्राजापत्य व्यूह रश्मीन्समूह तेजः।
यत्ते रूपं कल्याणतमं तत्ते पश्यामि योऽसावसौ पुरुषः सोऽहमस्मि॥
O Sun, nourisher, lone traveller, controller, child of the Creator, spread apart your rays and gather in your blinding light. Let me see your most gracious form. The Being who dwells there, I am that.
What it means
Behind the dazzling outer light is a gentle, inner one, and it is not different from you. The divine you admire from afar is your own deepest nature. Look past the glare and recognise yourself.हिंदी में अर्थ
हे सूर्य, पोषक, अकेले चलने वाले, नियंता, प्रजापति के पुत्र, अपनी किरणों को फैलाओ और अपने तेज को समेटो। मुझे तुम्हारा सबसे मंगलमय रूप देखने दो। वहाँ जो पुरुष है, वही मैं हूँ।
बाहरी चकाचौंध के पीछे एक कोमल भीतरी रोशनी है, और वह तुमसे अलग नहीं। जिस ईश्वर को तुम दूर से पूजते हो, वह तुम्हारा अपना गहरा स्वरूप है।
