Isha Upanishad 15 meaning
hiranmayena patrena satyasy-apihitam mukham
tat tvam pooshann apavrinu satyadharmaya drishtaye
हिरण्मयेन पात्रेण सत्यस्यापिहितं मुखम्।
तत्त्वं पूषन्नपावृणु सत्यधर्माय दृष्टये॥
The face of Truth is covered by a golden lid. O Sun, nourisher of all, please remove it, so that I, who love the truth, may see it.
What it means
The things that hide truth from us are often shiny, not ugly: money, praise, comfort, status. Ask for the courage to look past the glitter and see what is actually real.हिंदी में अर्थ
सत्य का मुख एक सुनहरे ढक्कन से ढका हुआ है। हे पोषण करने वाले सूर्य, उसे हटा दो, ताकि मैं, जो सत्य का प्रेमी हूँ, उसे देख सकूँ।
सत्य को छिपाने वाली चीज़ें अक्सर बदसूरत नहीं, चमकदार होती हैं: पैसा, तारीफ़, आराम, रुतबा। चमक के पार देखने की हिम्मत माँगो।
