Isha Upanishad 10 meaning
anyad ev-ahur vidyayanyad ahur avidyaya
iti shushruma dheeranam ye nas tad vichachakshire
अन्यदेवाहुर्विद्ययाऽन्यदाहुरविद्यया।
इति शुश्रुम धीराणां ये नस्तद्विचचक्षिरे॥
Knowledge brings one result, they say, and action brings another. This is what we have heard from the wise who explained it to us.
What it means
Different paths give different fruits, and each has its place. The teacher also admits this wisdom was received, not invented. Learning from those who walked before us is itself a sign of humility.हिंदी में अर्थ
कहते हैं ज्ञान का फल एक है और कर्म का फल दूसरा। ऐसा हमने उन धीर ज्ञानियों से सुना है जिन्होंने हमें यह समझाया।
अलग-अलग रास्तों के अलग फल हैं और हर एक की अपनी जगह है। ऋषि भी मानते हैं कि यह ज्ञान उन्होंने सुना, गढ़ा नहीं। पहले चले लोगों से सीखना विनम्रता है।
