sanhatatvad yatha venur nividaih kantakair vritah
na shakyate samuchchettum bhratrisanghatavans tatha
संहतत्वाद्यथा वेणुर्निविडैः कण्टकैर्वृतः।
न शक्यते समुच्छेत्तुं भ्रातृसङ्घातवांस्तथा॥
Just as a bamboo clump, packed close and surrounded by thick thorns, cannot be uprooted, a person surrounded by united brothers cannot be overthrown.
